Error with case properties in new app

Hello, is anyone experiencing problems creating new case properties? I have been speaking with DImagi staff and there seems to be a problem with new cases. Questions are not being saved to case properties and they do not show up on the form builder app properties. This seems to only be happening for new app,s because if you copy an old app to your project space the case properties show up in the form builder.

This is weird, I am in the middle of building a referral app for deployment on Monday and unable to continue working. Does anyone have a workaround for this?
