Error restoring from server

Hi all, I am receiving an exception when attempting to restore from the server for user "rsaintlouis" for the Done Kolera application in the pih_cholera domain. Here's the error message:

java.io.IOException [error in http operation]

It displays at the bottom of the screen after pressing the "Fetch Data" button.

Any ideas?

Resolved! It turns out that some of our phones had their "data bearer" property set to "GSM Data". We switched it over to "Packet data" and everything worked as expected. Hope someone else finds this successful.

Thanks
Jon

Hi,

The problem might be with your phone's network connectivity. You can check
your phone's connection to the network -- see "testing GPRS connection"
here: GPRS Setup - CommCare Public - CommCare Public

Though it's worth noting that if you have variable connectivity, you might
get a successful network test even if the network isn't good enough to
restore a lot of user data.
