I searched the archives for this topic, but couldn't find
anything----apologies if I'm repeating a question.
I'm using the hint text as a way to offset some text from the main
question----reminding a health worker of some guidelines, or listing the
conditions within which the health worker should refer.
I've noticed that after a certain point, hint text is truncated. I'm
testing this on a 7 inch Android tablet, so there's plenty of room on the
screen.
I searched the ODK developers google group as well, but could only find a
way to edit the xform such that the ODK supported entered data itself with
more characters---not the text on-screen.
Is there any way to allow for longer hint text? Any thoughts?
If you click on the hint text on the tablet screen you should find that it
expands to show the full length of the text you have entered.
