Display certain questions in 2nd form based on case property from 1st form

Hello,

I currently have 3 forms in a module, where the first form registers new
cases and the subsequent 2 forms update the cases that were registered. One
of the case properties that is registered in the first form is whether the
respondent is part of our program or not, and based on that case property,
for the subsequent 2 forms, I would like to display all questions in those
2 forms for our program participants and skip some questions in those 2
forms for those who are not part of our program. Is there a way to do this
in CommCare?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Satoshi

Hi Satoshi,

You can do this using Case Management. By saving the answer to the question
about being part of your program as a case property. In the follow-up forms
you can then load that case property into the form and use it as a display
condition. For more information see the Advanced Case Management tutorial (
Advanced Case Management Tutorial - CommCare Public - CommCare Public)

  • specifically the sections on saving and loading case data.

Hope this helps!

Jeremy
