Deprecation of Data Forwarding APIs

Hello Commcare Users,

There are currently two ways in which data forwarders can be configured in Commcare.

  1. Using the user interface - as described here
  2. Programatically using the APIs - as described here

We are deprecating the second way i.e programmatic use of Data Forwarding APIs for viewing, creating, and updating data forwarding configurations.

The Data Forwarding feature on Commcare UI and related configurations will remain the same. The users who are configuring Data Forwarders using the Commcare UI will not be impacted in any way.

The APIs will stay in the deprecated state for the next 6 weeks(i.e until 2022-09-11T00:00:00Z) and after that they will be completely removed.
