Delete a case?

Hi guys,
Is there a way to delete a case using a REST API ?
I ve read through some of the other questions posted here and they all say
that the only way to do this is to close the case.

Hi Yash,

Deleting cases is not possible, but closing a case is. What's your use
case for deleting a case that closing it wouldn't cover?

To close a case using the API, you'll need to submit a form that closes the
appropriate case.
