Hi - I set up an excel dashboard using the directions provided on the Comm
Care site, but my dashboard is not updating when new data comes in. Even
when I select 'refresh all' in excel, I only see the data originally used
to create the dashboard. At first, I thought it was an error on my part so
I recreated the dashboard in a new excel workbook and made sure to follow
the instructions very carefully. However, I keep running into the same
problem. Can someone help me figure out why I keep running into this
problem.
Thanks,
Natalie
Hi Natalie,
we are having the same problem. I already sent in an issue report to
CommCare. What worked for me in the short term is creating a new export and
using the new URL in your Excel. If this doesn't work for you it might be
on your end after all.

Hello Natalie,
Did you see this line in step 10 of the tutorial...
" If Excel hangs during the refresh, disable Enable Background Refresh on
all data connections. This is a known problem for spreadsheets with
multiple web-based data connections. Find it under *Data -> Connections ->
Select Connection, click Properties *-> unselect *Enable Background
Refresh." *
This fixed the problem for me.
