Counting increase form submission

Dear All,

I have a question related to count number submission of form. I don't know this question is similar to an existing question. but I could not found.

my purpose is wanted to count the household during my survey in each villaged. for example: the village code is 060302 and has 16 household sample in a village. so I want to see the number of the household is 060302-01 till 060302-16

if anyone ever use this format please kindly comment of give me an advise.

Thanks in advance.

unless the user making those submissions is the same user, it is impossible to guarantee a sequence.

this is because commcare is designed to work in an offline capacity. so, unless all the users sync after every submission, you won't know where the counter has reached.
