Coordinates issue

Hi all,

I would like to understand why good accuracy has to be 10 meters. What happens if the accuracy is much higher than than 10 meters? will it affect the building of maps from the coordinates captured through GPS question?

Thanks.

The 10 meter limit for GPS was set more as a practical constraint than a data constraint. Many phones and GPS units are never able to achieve more precision, so before we made auto-capture stop at 10 meters some phones were keeping the GPS / Location services active for long periods of time with major drain on the battery.
