CommCare vs ODK

Hi guys...where I am working, we are analyzing using ODK or CommCare

The differences that I have found were the tables (they are not compatible
between them), the support and that one is free. Someone with experience
who can help me.

Thank you very much

P.S. We will use approximately 100 users

Hi Luna,

Although there are a few distinctions between ODK and CommCare, the core
feature that distinguishes CommCare is something called Case Management
https://confluence.dimagi.com/display/commcarepublic/Case+Management,
which is a technology that allows you to register and track data about
"cases" (which could be anything from pregnant women to farmer's fields)
offline between forms.

CommCare has both free and paid offerings. A few groups have put
together comparisons
of different features
http://impacttrackertech.kopernik.info/digital-data-collection-apps which
may be helpful to identify what dimensions are important to your use case.

Clayton thank you very much for the information but I couldn't find
anything specific where I could compare one with another, I found the
comparison with other brands, but nothing that I compare ODK vs. Commcare

Always many thanks

You are very welcome. There are a few other features that may be different
between the two, but most commonly the need for offline longitudinal case
management and tracking of user workforces are the most relevant. Please
let know if you have any other questions.
