Commcare ODK configurations

Hi All,

Just had a few questions about the following on a commcare odk client:

  1. I can't seem to find a setting via which the commcare odk user on the
    mobile gets an option to change her password. Is this possible and how? ( I
    have comsense enabled to avoid advanced features for low literate users)

  2. How can we disable the mobile application users from changing (malicious
    or accidental) from changing/editing the submission server, data server etc
    settings from their phone sets?

Hi Zaineb,

Unfortunately neither of these are possible right now. For (1) you will
need to change the password on HQ. To (2) this sounds like a very
reasonable idea and has been suggested on user voice here:
http://dimagi.uservoice.com/forums/194737-commcare-mobile/suggestions/4182918-get-rid-of-advanced-home-screen-settings-on-odk.
I'd recommend voting for this and we can consider putting it into our
development pipeline soon.
