A CommCare point release was just made available on the Play Store to fix a bug released in CommCare 2.44. Because iof this bug some users were getting an error saying "Error reading XForm file" when they try to open a form after updating their CommCare App on CommCare 2.44. This issue was only affecting XForms for which namespace(xmlns) had changed in the latest app update when compared to the same XForm's namespace in the old app version installed on the device.
Users facing this issue are advised to update to CommCare 2.44.3 immediately.
