CC & GPS coordinates

Hi all,

I'm sure this is a topic that has come up before, but I can't seem to find
it. If I'm using a phone with GPS functionality (e.g. Nokia 2710ne), is it
currently possible to capture location coordinates with CommCare? If yes,
what is the xml to do this? If not, how big is the gap?

Thanks,
Jon

Hi Jon,

As always, Dimagi folks know better, but I think as long as CC is
built with the latest JavaRosa code, it should work. Check out this
thread on the JRosa list http://goo.gl/ALkIn for some more information
about how to use the geopoint bind.

(Hope that works)

Yeah, those instructions are pretty much it. In order to get GPS coords you
should just need to grab a build with GPS support, and add an
question with the geopoint datatype.
