My question is about switching from parent/child cases to one case. I did
so, but when I go to set up an export by cases, only the case properties
are displayed as the download option. Is there a way to easily export all
variables from all forms that are linked to a case (without having to save
every single question ID as a case property between all of the forms)?
I apologize about the delay in response - this was accidentally flagged by
our spam filters. I don't think there is an easy way to all of the
variables for all of the forms that are linked to a case.
However, you can download a case history (when creating a case export, this
is an option to include case history: https://confluence.dimagi.com/display/commcarepublic/Case+History+Export).
This will be a list of all changes made to your cases by any forms. You
can use this to identify which forms modified each case.
