Case management and Repeat group in commcare build

I have a repeat group with questions about medical diagnosis and whether it
is ongoing or not. I am having trouble creating a module which updates with
cases that are only ongoing from the repeat group.

Hello,

Are you trying to create cases from the repeat group? You can create child
cases from a repeat group and then you should be able to update those
(separate) cases later.

However, if you have a case with data in multiple repeats, as far as I know
it is not possible to update the case data associated with the repeat
groups.
