Case List Filter Not Working

Dear CommCare Users,

I had a terrible evening tonight trying to fix why the filter on the case
list is not just working, but no luck yet! The expression is written as *ccfls_status
!= "" *and it is failing to work, worked well on previous versions of the
App but not so sure of what changed specifically to cause this behaviour. I
have tried using several other properties and use them as filters on this
same module but to no avail. The name of the module is "CCFLS Referrals" in
the "Mawa Nutrition Volunteer" App of the Mawa project workspace.

Someone to help please???I am in the middle of the trainings for the end
users

Thanks and kind regards,
Chaiwa.

Hi Chaiwa,

I took a look into this for you and figured out what was different between
this version of your app and past apps. It turns out that case list
filtering does not work when you have a module that only has a case list
menu item and no forms. This is a known issue, which is why we originally
built your app with a form in that module (even though that form didn't do
much). If you add a form to the module, the filtering should work. I know
this isn't a perfect solution, but should get your app working for the
training.

Hi Jen,

Thanks for the quick reply. I tried adding a form back but it didn't work
either, maybe I messed up a few settings but I guess I will try again and
test it out!

Thanks once more for quickly reaching out.

Kind regards,
Chaiwa.
