Audio Capture Issue

Hi all,
I have programmed a question into my application for audio capture, but the
two types of tablets I am using are not allowing for audio capture. On the
Samsung Galaxy, when I hit "record sound," the error received is "No
activity found to handle: audio capture." On the Asus Fonepad the error
noted about the USB storage capacity. he question works fine on a Google
Nexus phone. Has anyone encountered such errors and been able to use the
audio capture? T

Mira,

For the "No activity found" error it sounds like you'll need to install an
audio recording application such as RecForge Lite
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dje073.android.audiorecorderlite&hl=en
to
handle this recording on that device. This might also resolve the Asus
Fonepad issue, though I haven't seen that error message before.

Having no problem using Joyoshare streaming audio recorder on my PC. Maybe you can use that as an reference?

Does anyone have an updated recommendation for an audio recording application? RecForge Lite doesn't seem to have been updated for new versions of android.

We now support a built-in audio recording widget.

You can turn it on for your app by setting the appearance attribute of your audio capture question to prototype
