Animated GIF support

We normally use PNG for module/form icons and images within forms. It is
possible to use animated GIFs instead (on Android)? Thanks, Ray

Hey Ray,

At the moment, GIFs are not fully supported for use within forms.

You may want to try using in-line videos within your forms. For more
information about how to do this, please see this page
https://confluence.dimagi.com/display/commcarepublic/Advanced+CommCare+Android+Formatting#AdvancedCommCareAndroidFormatting-In-lineVideo
.

If in-line videos don't work well with your project and you would really
want gifs, I would encourage to submit this ideas on our uservoice forum.
There, users can vote on ideas that they would like to see implemented.

To submit a Uservoice request, go to http://dimagi.uservoice.com. If it is
your first time on the site, you must register for an account. There you
can search for your idea, and if it hasn't been suggested you can submit
it. You can also vote for other features you'd like to see.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks!
