Accents and special characters not showing up correcting with Daily Saved Export

Hi everyone,

We've set up an excel dashboard with a daily saved export connection
(through case export), however, much of our data is in French and so
letters have accents. However, in the Excel dashboard, the accented
letters show up as a string of characters rather than what they should.
I've checked and everything displays correctly if I do a normal Custom
Export download or full form (or case) download, so it seems to be linked
to the data connection set up through Excel. Has anyone found a way to fix
this?

Hi Emily

This sounds like it might be a bug. Please could you report an issue on
CommCare HQ and we'll look into it.
