160 number of questions

I have a registration form that has 160 number of questions. I am trying to explore what would be best way to present this form.

  • Put all 160 questions into one form, but divide it into sections/groups and have review labels after each sections finish. I am just worried if the app might lag because of the large number of questions.
  • Divide it into 11 forms and link it through “end of navigation”. I have another follow-up form to this registration form that need to be filled after few months.

Any views regarding which might be the best solution?

if your users are going to be using a mobile phone, use question lists.

questions under a question list will show up in one page. so, you can have “pages” in your form, with summary pages afterwards. this will help with performance.
