URGENT: CommCare Crashing

Hi everyone,

I’m having a serious issue in my CommCare application. Every time I attempt
to access one of the modules in my application, CommCare crashes on my
device. This is happening on any device on which I attempt to sync and
access the modules in my application. I’ve noticed that this has only
started happening after I SYNCED my device. It did not happen if I deployed
the application and then updated the application. Could this possibly have
something to do with the data? The only change that I’ve made to the data
today was closing the following case:
https://www.commcarehq.org/a/tns-proof-of-concept/reports/case_data/a098E000001tImqQAE/.
When I synced the device after closing this case, this is when the
application started crashing.

Anyone else have a similar problem today or ever? Any advice would be
greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
Lexa

Hey Lexa,

Hi Lexa,

Sincerest apologies for the problem today.

I wanted to let you know that our team has further addressed the issue, and
any users who are experiencing problems should only need to press the Sync
with Server button and sync with HQ. Afterwards the app should resume
working normally. No one should need to follow the more complex “clear user
data” workflow to fix the problem

We hope this should make recovering from the issue easier for any remaining
users, and apologize for the disruption.
