Hi All,

I'm a newbie with CommCare though I've a reasonable amount of experience
with ODK.

I'm trying to format the date fields both mobile and web based to default
to the UK format of dd/mm/yyyy. I've no problem with the display info, i.e.
display text followed by used in this case to display a calculated result. However
when trying to default date field contents I've come to a dead end.

Also, can I display the results of a calculation directly into a field
instead of appending it to the display text as indicated above.

Hopefully simple issues, I just haven't sussed them - any help most welcome

Many Thanks

Mick

Mick,

So your goal is to set the default value of a date question after answering
another question?

Unfortunately that's not supported just yet, we only support setting the
default value once (At the beginning of the form, essentially). We're
planning on including that feature in a future release, however. An email
will go out to this list when it's included.
