"Try in CloudCare" for web data entry?

Hello,

I was wondering if it is possible to use the "try in CloudCare" feature for
web data entry? So far registering new patients has been working, but I'm
not sure if there are any future glitches that I may run into.

Your help is much appreciated!

Thanks,
George

Hi George,

If you want to do web data entry, we recommend you subscribe to the Pro plan
http://www.commcarehq.org/software-plans/, which gives you full access to
CloudCare
https://help.commcarehq.org/display/commcarepublic/Using+CloudCare, our
interface for web data entry. This will allow you to log into CloudCare as
a mobile worker, and all data submitted will be treated as if it had been
submitted from a mobile application.

As you've seen, "Try in CloudCare" is available on the community plan. We
recommend using this as a quick way to test out your forms without needing
to deploy your app to a phone. However, it is not meant to support the
entry of real data; only test data. As the warning at the top says: "Any
data you submit will show up in reports as submitted by 'Unknown User'.
Features that rely on mobile workers, like case sharing and lookup tables,
will not work properly."

If you do decide to use "Try in CloudCare" for the entry of real data,
please be aware that it is not supported and the way this data is treated
in reports or exports may change at any time.

Thanks,
Amelia
