Peter,

This is very strange! Can you send me the domain and app that you're
currently testing so I can take a look?

Peter,

I downloaded build 540 and put it on an SD card and it ran for me without
an issues. Can you send me the jar/jad that you downloaded from the server
that was giving you problems?

Hi Clayton/All,
We are still having this problem - I'm not sure what is going on but
nowadays the network is so bad it's practically impossible to install from
SMS.

Error message says
There was an error, and Commcare could not be started. Do you want to see
the debug information? When you say "yes" it says null.

Any idea how to fix?

Thanks,
Julia

Julia:

Did you try to install the two files you included here as they are? The
filename is important for nokia phones, so you need to rename your two
files to

CommCare.jad
and
CommCare.jar

when you put them on the phone, or else they won't be able to install
correctly.

Hi All,

We have been facing a problem with Commcare m-application, hope somebody may
advise something fruitful in this regard. We have been getting

error :

XPath evaluation:type mismatch Location/data/meta/owner name was not found.

The above error comes when we start a module in mobile application which has
been created with CommCare ODK.

Looking for any input to fix it.

Thank you, Sanjay

Hi Clayton,

Thank you for message. We have using domain : union-jharkhand and the
application name is RHCP. Now the current status is

  1. The problem is with only one user's phone (UserID : Binay)

  2. I did reset user data in his phone as well as per instruction on

commcare help website.

  1. When we log with userID: "Binay" in any phone, the following comes

upon opening the Referral form

Error occurred

XPath evaluation:type mismatch nodeset has more than one
node[instance(groups)/groups/................... can not covert to value.

It looks like that no any problem with internet connectivity or with the
application or device but rather problem linked with userID.

Thank you, Sanjay
