Saving values to parent case

Hello,

I'm trying to save values from a form to the parent case. When setting the
Case Property in Case Management I use the following: *parent/is_there_water.
*I use this approach for multiple properties but none of them are getting
written to the parent case. All the properties that must be written to the
normal case does get written. Is this the incorrect way of writing to a
parent case?

Thanks

Your syntax looks correct - could you send a screenshot of your
configuration? Are you able to reference parent properties from with the
form using that syntax?

Cheers,
Will

I can reference the properties of the parent case in the form itself.

Not sure what configuration you are talking about... Going to guess it's
the Case Management one.

Your case management looks setup correctly - could you file a bug report
https://confluence.dimagi.com/display/commcarepublic/Bug+Reports and
include an instance of this form that you've filled out where the parent
case was not updated correctly? Then our team can take a closer look.

Will
