Restricting web user to mobile user group

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to restrict a read only web user access to a particular
group only ? I'd like specific web users to get reports, mobile user
listing and cases related a single group only, hiding everything related
to other groups.

Many thanks,

Hi Charles,

Currently we don't support this functionality although it is a use case
that we would like to support in the platform in the future. One way that
people have done something similar is by setting up specifically configured
email reports that go out to users that are setup with the right groups
selected. Depending on whether what you're looking for is an access control
issue or just an information filter issue that might address it.

I would also encourage you to look through our uservoice
http://dimagi.uservoice.com/ and see if there are ideas that match your
use case and vote on them (or if not, post your own). For example this one
http://dimagi.uservoice.com/forums/228029-big-ideas/suggestions/3647600-nested-groups-on-hq
might be similar.

Many thanks for the quick answer. Email reprots will hopefully be enough
for now.

Thanks,
