Reassign Cases Issue

Hi all,

I'm trying to reassign cases but get the message "out of range on filter.
will not appear on refresh" each time I reassign a case to a group - what
does this mean? I searched in this group and on the wiki but couldn't find
an answer.

Thanks for your help,
Tania

Hi, Tania,

Usually just means that your reassignment was successful, so that if you
refresh the page using the old filter the case will not show up again. I
have just updated the help site page to reflect this, and sorry for any
confusion: Reassign Cases - CommCare Public - CommCare Public

Thanks, Jeremy. I've checked the Case List report and however, the
reassignments haven't come through on that report either. But is this
related to the previous issues about the edited data not showing up in a
few reports? Also, the filters that I've set on the reassign cases page are
to "All Data", so theoretically I should be able to see those cases, right?
I wonder if this may be related to a separate question I posted about my
exiting groups having the incorrect members in them all of a sudden?

Hi Tania,

Yes, this report is subject to the data issues that we're experiencing. The
case reassignments are still happening even though this case list report
may not appear up-to-date. If you look at the individual cases, you will
see that they belong to the updated case owner. You're right about using
[All Data], once this issue is resolved it will show all the cases in your
project space.

As for your other thread, your intuition is correct, the user groups
behavior is part of the same issue. You mentioned that you were possibly
going to hold off on your bulk user upload, and you may want to do so just
so that you can verify that your upload works correctly.

Sorry about the inconvenience. We will be sending out updates on the data
issues as we have them.

Sincerely,
