Randomize question and response option order

Hi Commcare community,

I'd like to minimize order effects by randomizing question order. I found this
thread from 2013

on the topic, and was wondering if the information in it still applies.

I'd also like to randomize the order in which response options for a given
multiple choice question show up. Is there a way to do this?

I've searched the docs but haven't found the answer there.

Hi Ilya,

You can see how to set up a form to display a random question from a
look-up table on the Help Site here

(please
note that look-up tables require a Standard software plan). I'm not sure of
a way to randomize the response options, besides copying the question and
changing the order of the answer options, and then also randomizing between
those questions.
