New feature in form designer: question copy

Hi CommCare Users,

We're excited to announce that the form designer now lets you copy a
question with one click. Whether it's a single question, a select and its
items, or a complicated group, you can now click "Copy" under Question
Properties to create a copy of the current question directly below it in
the form.

Display text and question logic (display, validation, and calculation
conditions) are all copied in the way you would expect.

Mike

Mike,

This is great and very time saving as I have lots of yes/no questions to
programme today! Thank you!

I was just wondering though, is it possible to use this feature, or is
there another feature, that allows you to copy questions from one form to
another?

Thanks again,

Jenny

Hi, I know this is a late response to this thread, but what I need to know
is very close to this issue.

I have different groups of students each semester and will make a google ID
for each group. I want them to be able to do the same course topics and
can't seem to find the way to copy google forms. The other docs will
download but not the forms. There is a dropdown box that says 'skip
download' and no other option.

Can anyone help me please?
Thanks
Jenni

You can't use this to copy questions between forms. Though if you want to
copy an entire form you can download and upload the form. Depending on what
you're trying to do it may be faster than redoing all the questions.

Hi Jenni,

I think you may have the wrong mailing list. It sounds like you are using
Google Forms. This mailing list is for CommCare (you can read more about
CommCare here: CommCare: Empowering Field Data Capture for NGO Programs

Feel free to use this mailing list for any questions you have about
CommCare.

Thanks,
Amelia
