New Feature: Advanced Case List Sorting

Hi Users,

We wanted to let you know about a brand-new feature that we think will help
make CommCare applications more useful for mobile workers: Advanced Case
List Sorting.

Previously, the case list in a CommCare app was automatically sorted by
whatever case property you put first in the case list configuration page in
the application builder. We learned from your feedback that it is often
useful to automatically order the case list so that higher priority cases
are at the top of the list (e.g. cases with a danger sign, or with an
upcoming appointment date).

Advanced Case List Sorting gives you more control over the order cases
appear in a mobile worker's Case List. You can sort by multiple case
properties independently of of what you choose to display in the Case List.

For more documentation on how to use this feature, see:
https://help.commcarehq.org/display/commcarepublic/Advanced+Case+List+Sorting

Thanks,
Amelia

Hi Everyone,

Just as a clarification, if you do not see this functionality on your
application, you may need to change your CommCare version to 2.2 or higher.
The CommCare version is available under "Java Phone General Settings" on
the Settings page for your application.

Thanks,
Sheel
