Navigation of long lists with CommCare Sense mode turned on

Related to the attached illustration, I have two questions related to menu
navigation with CommCareSense mode turned on:
1 - Is it possible to scroll the list without selecting an item near or
below the bottom of the visible screen? (in my experience I could only
scroll the list by pressing a number associated with the last visible menu
item, or a menu item not currently visible) I guess I was hoping to use
the multi-way navigation button to scroll this list up or down.
2 - What happens if there are more than 9 items in the list? While I'm not
sure if we will ever have more than 9 forms in any module, we have one
single-select list with 9 potential responses, and would like to add one
more.
Thanks, Ray

Ray,

1 - this isn't currently possible, unfortunately. I'll review the current
state of the interface, but one of the reasons that scrolling is disabled
in this sense mode is that chw's were having problems with accidentally
hitting the navigation keys, so it might lead to some confusion. It should
probably be possible to introduce scrolling for panes which are too long,
however.
2 - If there are more than 9 items in a list the phone will fall-back to
normal scrolling operations (up/down to navigate, center key to confirm).

Clayton,
Thanks for the reply. After posting the topic I noticed that the
navigation keys appear to work with long select lists (ie. when filling in
a form). Applying a similar design to long form lists would be great.
