Importing dates that display on the phone

Hi there,

I am importing dates onto the server which export perfectly but I would
like them to also display on the phone. I have tried importing them
directly to the date case property and also to a case property I used to
format the date properly but with no success.

Can anyone give me any tips??

Hi Heidi,

Are you using ISO dates, such as 2015-07-16? Please try this format in your
date case property.

You might also check that Excel is using the “date” format for cells (you
can modify this in Excel), and that you are selecting date as the column
format in our Excel Importer. For more information on the Excel Importer
columns, please see:
https://help.commcarehq.org/display/commcarepublic/Mapping+Case+Properties+and+Completing+the+Import

If this does not work, please Report an Issue on HQ and we will look into
it further.
