How to copy application without any existing data

Hi,

When we copy a application to any of the project space, it copies all the
existing forms & structure but also contain the data collected in the
previous application , so do we have any option where it can allow us only
to copy the application without any existing data ?

Kindly suggest.

Hello,

When you copy an application it does not copy any data with it - you can
use the "copy application" option at the bottom left of the options panel.

If you copy an application within the same project space and you already
have data collected, that data will be accessible via the copy of the
application as well if you do not modify the case type. Any application
with the same case type in the same project space will access the same case
data.

This is very much helpful.

So this will be applicable for the data being saved through a case , so
what about the data being saved directly from the forms ? (or some of the
forms may not be using a case also. )

Hi Sahu,

Form data is unique per form/application, so if you copy an application,
form submissions from the new application will show up separately from the
original application in exports.
