So maybe I am missing some basic export function, but how would I look at
the history of a specific property of a case? For example, if a patient
comes for a follow up visit and gets their weight taken every month for a
year, and this gets saved as a 'weight' property in their case, how do I
get the data to see how their weight has changed over time? Does Commcare
keeps this change history in a database somewhere, or does it just
overwrite the value each time the case is updated?
To export the history from HQ you can create a custom case export and check
the "history" box, which will pop up the historical properties. You might
also have to check "Show Deleted Questions and Advanced Properties" for
everything to show up.
