Help Regarding Change in Fixtures and Updating Software on Phones - IIHMR MCTS

Under IIHMR MCTS Mobile Application, we have 10 ANMs selected for
pilot study. Now some the selected ANMs were deputed to other Health
Sub Centers which led to changes in the name of their ASHAs , AWWs and
AWCs.

We have changed the fixtures on Commcare.

We want to now whether for change for fixtures on Mobile Phone, we
have to built a version of App or not.
and if yes, do we need to update or reinstall the App in all the mobile or
not?

We are using the Nokia - ASHA 205 Java phone with QWERTY key pad

Hi

You shouldn’t have to re-install the app. Whenever you sync the phone with
the server it will update the fixtures.

Are your phones set in 2-way-sync mode or are you set in "submit only"
mode? On CommCare mobile you will receive fixture changes when you sync the
phone, but the app needs to be configured to be in two-way communication
with the server.
