FW: Feedback on MES application

Hello Jeffrey,

Glad to hear all is going well with the application now.

Yes likely do to the mode. The default mode for Sense and Non Sense (i.e.
Sense is OFF) are outlined below. There is room to change some of the
default settings. Copying commcare-users for others who might be interested
.

Usability for answering questions:
Sense Mode OFF: Users answer a question, the form automatically goes to the
next.

Sense Mode ON: Users answer a question, then press the middle button to
continue.

Right now your app is set to Sense OFF, because your users preferred the
first interface.

Usability for login:
Sense Mode OFF: Also called Normal mode. Users have to always enter their
username upon login.

Sense Mode ON: Also called Auto login. Only enter password. Username is
saved after restoring.

Right now your application is set to Sense OFF. I can change it to
auto-login as it sounds like that is what your users prefer.

Usability for unsent forms:
Sense Mode OFF: Also called Manual. The number of unsent forms appears at
the of the all the forms and requires the user to force send the data.

Sense Mode ON: Also called Automatic. The application automatically sends
the data from the phone when there is network. The number of unsent forms
appears at the top of the modules screen in brackets.

Right now your app is set to Automatic mode. What do your users prefer?

Mohini

Moh,

A quick clarification regarding auto-login mode:

In this mode, the application saves the username and password of the last
logged in user, so the app will immediately go to the home screen. The last
logged-in user's username is always saved.

For other readers: Auto-login mode is also only available on J2ME devices.
Android users will always need to enter a password.
