"failed to download updates. this usually means your app has a configuration issue"

We have a user trying to update the app who is receiving the following
error "“failed to download updates. this usually means your app has a
configuration issue” - I’ve searched the forum and website and can’t seem
to find any clear directive on how to troubleshoot. Any help or steps to
help would be much obliged! I can’t think of what would be causing this!!

Hi Jessie

Have you tested the latest version of the app on another device? If you’re
able to install the app another device then you could try uninstall it from
the device and re-install it.
