Excel Dashboard not refreshing

Hi CommCare users,

I need a little help about an excel dashboard. I have colleagues of mine
who can not refresh an excel dashboard that I shared with them. I can
easily refresh the same spreadsheet and get new data pulled in but they
can't. They get an error message "can not open pivot table source file." I
have attached a screenshot for more reference.

Thanks,
James

Hi James,

Quick question, can you check the data source for the pivot tables in your
excel dashboard?
It's possible that the pivot table is referencing a data source from a
document that you have locally, but to which your colleagues don't have
access.

I think if you ask your colleagues to change the data source of their pivot
tables to reflect the data in their own document, that might help.

Thanks,
Patrick

Thanks Patrick! By changing the data source do you mean they would have to
go to Options->Change Data Source? I know that this is the procedure in
Excel 2007 but I am not sure how to do this on a MAC. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
James

Hi James,

I meant exactly that, they just normally just click on the pivot
table-->Analyse--->change data source. Hope it helps.
Found this link for how to do it on a mac

Thanks,
Patrick
