Error: Time it takes to complete a form

Hi all,

Has anyone encountered an instance where a form was recorded as being
finished in an amount of time that seems physically impossible? I currently
have several cases that are in question, and I wanted to see if it could be
a potential system error.

Cheers,

Staci

Hi Staci. Can you provide more information on what you mean by this? Do you
mean that the start and end times in the form's metadata seem too close
together? If so, what sort of timing are you seeing that seems impossible?

Hi Aliza,

Yes, the start and end times in the form's metadata seem too close
together. Our survey should take at least 15 minutes to complete, however,
we have completed forms that took as little as 5 minutes.

Staci

Hey Staci, got it. I would say that barring any information that would
definitively indicate otherwise, that is almost certainly caused by users
just going through the form rather faster than you would like/expect. You
should definitely feel free to use this information to reach out to
specific users and encourage them to make sure they are doing proper
diligence while filling out the form. We have also found that this sort of
thing can sometimes indicate that users are collecting the information from
beneficiaries in some other way (like writing it down or trying to just
remember it), and then filling out the form in CommCare after the fact, so
you may want to ask about that as well.
