Editing form submissions with cases

I recently edited a form which is used to create cases. When I submitted
the revision, I noticed that the old case was left in tact and a new case
was created using the new data in the form, resulting in a duplicate case.
Is this the intended behavior? Is there another way to edit a form that
creates a case without resulting in a duplicate case? Thanks.

Hey Jared - this is not the intended behavior and sounds like a bug. Could
you please file a report
https://confluence.dimagi.com/display/commcarepublic/Bug+Reports with the
specifics so that we can take a look?

Thanks,
Will
