Is there a way to display the automatically generated case_id value in the
case list? I want my mobile workers to easily be able to see the case_id
value.
Do I need to make a hidden value within the form that pulls the case_id,
and if so how do I go about referencing it?
There isn't a simple way to do this. One option is to
Enable Custom Calculations in Case as Feature Preview (go to Project
Settings -> Feature Previews).
Add a case property to the case list (ex. name)
Change its format to "Calculation"
Remove anything that is already in the calculation (I think there may be
a .) and change the calculation to @case_id
Note, the custom calculations are a feature preview, so there is a chance
you could create a bug in your app if you type something incorrect in the
calculation.
