Hi,

I keep getting the error, "One of your app's resources (Application
Descriptor) is not valid and must be fixed before it can be installed." I
saw that there was a similar post earlier but it seemed like it was fixed
with a private message. Could anybody give me heads up on a fix?

Best,

Nish

Hi Nishant,

Sorry you have been experiencing issues and thanks for reaching out to us.

For specific problems like this, we recommend using the "Report an Issue"
button (you can find this at the bottom of any page in CommCareHQ). It
gives us additional information about your project that will help us
resolve the issue more quickly. When you run into issues specific to your
project, this is the best way to reach out to us. We hope that you'll use
the commcare-users mailing list for general questions and discussions about
CommCare.

Cheers,

Did Dimagi find a fix for this?

I reported an issue, but trying to wrap this up!

Jonathan,

This is an issue that can occur intermittently due to different
circumstances - often due to connection issues (firewall or captive portal
EG). I believe Nishant resolved his issue by redeploying his app. We can
follow up offline on your bug report.

Best,
Will

Hi
You can try to these 2 solutions:

- uninstall the previous version of the application and run the new version
- try to install from an internet connection with less rules/restrictions.
