Connecting Commcare mobile client to the server without using internet

With SD card transfer you should taker of losing your data due to memory
corrupt! Just remember the risk.

Hello,

We currently support two alternative workflows for projects in areas with
low connectivity. They are Wi-Fi Direct and SD Card Transfer which you can
read about in the linked documentation.

Best,
Will

Hello,
I have been trying to get an alternative to connecting the mobile phones
using commcare to the server without the need for the internet connection.
I am implementing in an area where there is limited internet
connectivity so theoretically the forms cannot be sent but am required to
seek a solution that does not involve use of internet for the connection.
Any clue on how i can do this.

Thanks Tewelde,

You are right, but just to note in situations where the internet
connectivity isn't good the data sits on the phone/SD Card until the phone
is able to pick the data signal and then it can transfer the data. One
could agree maybe to have the phones get to an area where there is data
signal at particular intervals. matbe every two weeks and so on. Otherwise
just like any app that has a server sitting in the cloud you need the data
signal to send the data.

Hello

I am having problem of synching some mobiles to server even with fast
internet connection
when i try to sync it says "having issues communicating with server please
try again later" i know there is two options "direct wifi" and "dumping to
Sd card" which is my phones doesn't support direct wifi so that i am having
only damping forms to sd card which is risky. i am wondering if some one
can explain to me why this is happening and how to send with out any
problem for all my data's?
