Apologies if this is a silly question but how do I see which commit version has been deployed on the CommcareHQ site at https://commcarehq.org?

You're probably aware of the deploy history report (<base_url>/hq/admin/deploy_history_report/), but that's only visible to site administrators.
We do add a tag in the main github repo whenever deploying a Dimagi-controlled environment, including www.commcarehq.org. You can see those in your local copy of the repo or on github. For example, the latest "production" tag is this one:
2022-03-07_08.11-production-deploy
That corresponds to a deploy to that main site from early this morning.
