# CommCare Data Export Tool: v1.2.0 Release

We just released CommCare Data Export Tool **version 1.2.0**. The major changes in the release are fixes for SQL checkpoints. Please check the release notes for upgrade notes.

This release also adds the `sha1` mapping function which can be used to create SHA1 hashes of any values.
