Cant use form since this morning

Hello there,

wondering if there is a problem with commcare server. i cannot use my form
to log in since this morning, the phone says 'couldn't reach server. please
check your network connection'. my network connection is fine, since i can
access other internet sites with the same phone.
Yesterday, after the unschedulled maintenante was done, i can use it
perfectly.

maybe someone can give some info?
thanks.

Hello,

I believe all issues from yesterday's unscheduled maintenance should be
resolved; so, I'd recommend reporting any outstanding bugs following the
template described here
https://confluence.dimagi.com/display/commcarepublic/Bug+Reports and
someone on our team will follow up with your issue.

Best,
Will

I think you do have a new technical problem. I am showing the same problem
that Andre Tanoe posted above. Including a photo of the error messages
below. (For some reason the interface is sticking my image at the top of
my post, at least while I am writing it.)

1-- On a number of phones with correctly functioning wifi connections, I
was not able to log into either of my two applications, attempting to log
in as a number of different users. The error message when I attempt to log
in: Couldn't reach server. Please check your network connection. (but
network connection is fine)

2-- On one of my phones, it DID allow me to log in as just one of my users,
but then when I completed a form and went to submit it, I got this error
popup: *Having issues communicating with the server to send forms. Will
try again later. *

In the odd chance that this is specific to some specific accounts, apps, or
projects, here are two apps I am working with, and I am user estephan AT
fhi360.org

https://www.commcarehq.org/a/zakopane/apps/view/aa642d74f4fbf0fb618b23fb75e82a45/modules-0/?edit=true

https://www.commcarehq.org/a/zakopane/apps/view/6622017ad0108ee807040c0c7b4d3bb6/modules-0/?edit=true

I will also go to the link that you provided in your earlier email, but any
additional info here would be great --

Eric

P.S. One more point that I just mentioned when I submitted the bug report
-- the system DID allow me to download a new version of my app to a couple
of the phones (i.e., starting the download by using the QR code to bring my
app into the phone) ... it is only when I tried to use the apps that the
above mentioned errors started happening.

Eric

Hi All,

I am also having problems "communicating with server" - none of my phones
will sync with the server. I have been using the same application for over
a year, so I hope it is not my app, but something to do with the server
your end. My nerwork connection is fine.

Some phones are saying Couldn't reach server. Please check your network
connection.
and others are saying *Having issues communicating with the
server to send forms. Will try again later. *

I have had to continue with my follow ups using paper forms today as the
'case list' cannot be updated.....

Hi Will,

Same problem here

"A serious problem occurred while CommCare was trying to download an update
(or install your app). CommCare couldn't find the resource with id:
Application Descriptor. This is often due to a bad internet connection."

It was working fine yesterday.

Hello there,

wondering if there is a problem with commcare server. i cannot use my
form to log in since this morning, the phone says 'couldn't reach server.
please check your network connection'. my network connection is fine, since
i can access other internet sites with the same phone.
Yesterday, after the unschedulled maintenante was done, i can use it
perfectly.

thanks.
