Bulk upload of existing users - can we avoid password resets

Does specifying a password value of ‘********’ imply that the password will
remain unchanged, for mobile workers that have already been configured?

I see that ‘********’ is included in the downloaded file (see image below),
but don’t see this explicitly covered in the Wiki
documentationhttps://wiki.commcarehq.org/display/commcarepublic/Create+and+Manage+CommCare+Mobile+Workers,
other than this statement that implies that the actual password needs to be
included every time: “Note that username and password are required”.

Thanks, Ray

Hi Ray,

Yes, the ******** implies that the password will not be reset. We will
update the documentation accordingly. Thanks for pointing it out.

Sheel
