Bulk re-opening of closed cases

We had a form accidentally get set to close cases, and it wasn't noticed
until many forms had been submitted. Is there any way to bulk reopen the
closed cases? I've seen the process that's possible by archiving the form,
but ideally we would like to still keep the data collected from that form
in the case database. It would also be great to be able to do this in a
bulk action since many cases were affected.

Thanks,
Kevan

Hey Kevan,

Unfortunately neither of these two things are possible today. The only way
to reopen a case is to archive the close form, and there is currently no
bulk support for archiving forms.

If you are on a standard plan, as a possible workaround, you could export
the cases to make sure have all the right properties set from the close
forms, then archive them, then reimport to set the properties back. The
archiving would still have to be done manually, however.

Hi @czue,
Is this possible now? I am faced with a similar challenge!

Thanks and kind regards,
